NVWOCI WVS Posted January 31, 2009 Report Share Posted January 31, 2009 Volume is the ammount of air in litres that is going into the tyre per minute. Obviously a car pump (I presume you mean an electric compressor) is designed to pump the car tyre up fast (high volume, low pressure). Your average track pump is a lower volume, longer stroke, and designed for higher pressures (designed for pumping up road bike tyres), and a small hand held pump is very low volume and short stroke. Cookyboy Posted January 31, 2009 Report Share Posted January 31, 2009 got to get it perfect, tyre centre in the rim. you dont want to be bouncing off the edge of the rim, missing and just not getting the job done. be sure on your angle go for it and be sure you can get it right in there, no messing, job done, done right.
