Paul - bedfordtrials
Just thought i'd put a few picks up of my Ashton, its nothing special, pretty old skool build as kinda stopped riding & slowly getting back into it again.Oh and I know its missing a seat, the one that came with it is broken and nobody seems to have a spare. Spec: Ashton frame resprayed black, Pashley forks, Easton EA50 bars, Kore Lite 3 stem, Maguras f&r, Middleburns, Hope XC on Echo front rim & Hope Pro2 on Echo rear rim.I'm looking to make the front end a bit lighter as feels a tad heavy, what would people suggest? I was thinking of getting a lighter front wheel & maybe changing the forks?? I'm also wanting to change the bar & stem, any ideas what I should go for??Cheers,Paul. Mikee
Nice bike! I had the same problem finding a seat for mine. But finally got one after about 2 or 3 months, so don't give up looking

Zach
That looks really nice, email Martyn Ashton through the Ashton Bikes website and he may just have a seat laying around... Edited February 2, 2009 by Zach
Ross McArthur
Sweet bike man. A seat would finnish that right off. A red one would look the mutts nutts!I wonder why people just paint it a plain colour like that. I had a vision of doing mine like the way Ali Cs was, baisically a white version of the 07-08 black and red ones. Hopefully will get round to it at some point.
