0zzy
mint mate, im defo investing in a pair of phat pads as soon as my current pads where down. what grind you running yours on mate?
Muel
What rim is that? I've got an Atomz rim with the harshest grind I could get and I can't get them to work. Maybe they just need to wear in still, but from just looking at them they've worn to the angle of the rim already.
t33zr
mint mate, im defo investing in a pair of phat pads as soon as my current pads where down. what grind you running yours on mate?A brand new hard grind. (made with a new grindingdisc)What rim is that? I've got an Atomz rim with the harshest grind I could get and I can't get them to work. Single wall.I made the grind hard, but i did use about 15 minutes to set up the pads perfectly so they will wear down corectly. They sounded shit the first 3 minutes, but then they became AWSOME.... Phatmike
Nice one T33zr, glad you like them! The Phatworks site is still being constructed. There will be an online shop and ordering facility for the pads, and other products. Untill then it is quite simple to order from myself, simply give me a Pm/Email/MSN (michael.singleton@trials-forum.co.uk), and I'll be happy to answer any questions!Muel, it's a funny one yours don't seem to be too hot at the moment, give me a shout on MSN and I'll see if I can help you out. Cheers,Mike.
Muel
I havn't got your MSN Mike. I think they might not be properly worn in yet, when I took my last pads off they were concave. I'm just going to leave it for a while, I'll give you a shout if I can't get it sorted, maybe I just need to run a heavier grind, although this one seems heavy enough!Maybe they're just taking longer to wear in than I thought they would, everyone has told me about how good the wear rate is. Eduardo
No offence but that brake sounds wank to me lol, should of let them bed into the grind for less swoop, but meh.I tested the pads years ago and mine were mint, i know that they can be alot better than that, cool vid though.
