Captain Scarlet
My heritage isn't interesting in the sense of my ancestors doing big or being part famous acts, but I am personally interested in the lineage of my family/surname.Example being, pretty much every person with the surname "Hutley", I am somehow related to, some girl added me on Facebook and we were able to find that we were about 5th/6th cousins in the Hutley family. There are Hutleys in Australia because one of my great great great (etc) uncles, was caught for housebreaking in the 1800's, and sent to Australia when it was as a prison and then re-populated the Hutley name out there.Okay back to the topic of interesting family members, theres really nothign amazingly interesting about my family that I know of. Skoze
My great aunt built Bombers in WW2.My Grandad on my mum's side was in the fleet air arm, taking pictures of things, guns, missiles, planes, said planes crashing/ falling off the side (got some funny pictures upstairs ) And then did loooooads of photography/ advertising stuff.Great Grandad on my dad's side was in the cavalry during WW1.Think there are a few more interesting ones, everyone else was just boring

He was pretty awesome. The other grandad was at christmas island and died before i was born (go figure, nuclear testing - early death). Rich Pearson
Nothing brutally amazing in my family: My dad was one of the engineers and designers of British Telecom, so if you pick up a phone basically anywhere in the uk you're using technology he developed. My uncle flew Vulcan fighter bombers in the 60's.Not much else really.Rich

Greetings
My dad's fairly interesting, he survived the whole war, was a fairly successful rally driver, is the co-founder of the polish equivalent of the RAC, had loads of really interesting jobs one of which is still engraving the trophies at the Wimbledon grand slam. But he's getting really old which sucks Edited January 29, 2009 by Inur
