Mark W
The phrase 'Battle of South Bank' is springing to mind. We could start selling t-shirts... There's only going to be one group who'd win that though, to be fair...
Rusevelt
Rusevelt - you wouldn't have seen the curving marble ledges before 'cos they only got put in about a week to two weeks ago. Regarding the block benches by the Hayward Gallery cafe, you'd be pretty lucky to get anything done on them, especially during the day on a weekend. Security aren't keen.Interestingly: Someone tried adding me on Facebook to a BMX ride that's going on on the 1st as a 'rival' ride to this one, haha. Good times...Well security patrolling hayward cafe did give me the benefit of the doubt for being the only rider there with no one around (it was fairly cold that day), so a mass of riders up there wouldn't be clever. This so called bmx vs trials battle could prove a good promo if there was a way to hype it up a bit with media even if there is no real sense of purpose other than putting trials on london map. It's more fun that way. Edited February 16, 2009 by Marvin the Martian

Mark W
For most places that aren't SE of London, booking early = saves you a load of money, as a heads up.
