RossMcd
different material its U6 ALLOY , they have also changed the disc tab and the dropouts i think. Does that mean it will be stronger? What advantages does changing the material make?
Ross McArthur
Does that mean it will be stronger? What advantages does changing the material make? Possibly stiffer, lighter, cheaper bla bla. Thats my guesses.

Mark W
There've been a few photos of these floating around, but here are a few photos of some of the more interesting parts of the new Slate II and Akali frames. Here's the Slate II in 4-bolt and V options: Pretty sweet 4-bolt plate/booster setup - fair whack of tyre clearance as it's a shared part with the Akali frame, which of course has to clear big ol' mod tyres: The cool new hollow BB yoke (check the welding too): Then for the Akali: Neat little dropouts: The Manus also comes in some new colours: New for 2010, Rockman also have a 108.9-esque freewheel and some Try-All-esque CNC'd snail cams too. They've also made re-fills for their pretty popular CNC'd pads available in their blue compound.
Jake Beach
Then for the Akali: Mmmm, me like
