Think what you have to remember is that back 10 years ago a jump frame was a possible trials frame. I remember when the DDG shooter was around, 4 years before that became a trials bike it was a dirt jump bike. So when people list things on Ebay or on websites they are just reffering to the fact you can do old fashioned style trials bits on them. Look at the old Giants the Martyns had, I think people that are not from the trials world tend to see that stlye of frame still in their heads.

Pretty much, before the zebdi, most riders didnt have trials bikes, obviously there where a few exceptions.

But DDG shooters, azonic ds1's/ds2's/evolutions, dmr trailstars, jack flash's, all the jump frames were used as trials frames as they are small, as where a lot of 14 inch xc frames. and years before this, the frames wernt even small. wasnt really till 2001/2002 that specialist trials frames became a widespread thing and the majority of people stopped using dirt jump frames.

I remember when a trials bike was just a MTB with a small frame :P Trials bikes now are too specific, encouraging a narrow minded approach to trials. Back in the late 90's when my old Pashley was out it was a XC, Jump, Trials, Trails and Street frame all rolled into one. Which made you ride it more creatively, allowing you to do more inventive lines and create a very individual style. Unlike modern "geometry" frames which encourage you to do the same old TGS shit.

How the hell is that an unneccesary post?! He corrected someone who made a mistake. From what I've seen on here, you're far more of a dick than he is.
