kjd4000
Looking to buy a 20" trials bike just to mess about on and i want to spend about £100.What do you recommend? Obviously not expecting loads for my money but as i say its just a play thing.
Mikey Tomo
You can generally get an Onza T-Pro for around about £150 if you can stretch your budget. Which are the best for beginners and having a play on.
kjd4000
I don't know what it is but they look really uncomfortable to ride (strange to say i know). Any experiences?
Mikey Tomo
Uncomfortable in what way? No place to sit? just kidding. Yeah I have one and they are really light.
A.Baxter
I have one i've had it about 2 years and its great, i have upgrded it alot though and its is a very comfortable bike to ride. Why do you think not ?Adam
kjd4000
Yeah right i don't want it for trials, i'm really using it for long rides in the woods and i have a triathalon coming up soon!!Anyway i meant unconforrtable as in the riding position (handlebars look really out streched), and they look heavy? Obviously you have one and say they are light which is good.Just seen one on ebay, got a bit of a dent in it but looks ok. Mikey Tomo
Ideally not the best bike for riding to places. Like riding everywhere in the lowest gear possible on your mountain bike.

Mikey Tomo
Oh right lol. Anyway, T-pro, great bike for messing about or for beginners, light, cheap.
kjd4000
clickLooking at this there is a dent in the frame. Ok or not so good in this place on a T-pro?
Mikey Tomo
Looks OK, has a few upgrades on it aswell. Go for it but bear in mind (as i have seen alot of people do this) it won't go for £100.
kjd4000
It seems like everything good, cheap bikes are hard to find. fixing things isn't a prob as i'm a trained bike mechanic. Ideally it needs to have maggie hs33s that work well and nothing else is important as it can be easilly fixed
Ashley-Wood
get it, fill the dent with filler and get it sprayed
Gogz-
get it, fill the dent with filler and get it sprayedThat would work would it. As soon as you hit it again it would fall out. That is no little dent m8, imo it don't look like a frame snapper. looks OK id buy it for £100 would stop at £160 in a bidding war though. How do you mean help you out? If you keep doing threads with correct punctuation, grammar and with good content then it shouldn't take to long to get validated. Quick tip always spellcheck.
