Well i went out riding a little while ago and my crank bolt came loose and i didn't relies the crank became wobbly. In turn it has rounded the inside of the crank arm a little bit.

I have heard of a coke can trick to sorting this out. I think i know what i need to do but could anyone please help and explain it fully to me?

literally just cut a strip of can out and lay it around the BB axle...trim it to make the perfect length with no overlap. Then just put the crank on as normal..

note that it's just a quick fix really...and although it can last for a very long time like this, it isn't really a cure (and you may need to re-do it now and then..)

surely there's loads of topics about this? i couldn't seem to find any..

It's square taper I take it. Pretty much as above bit I generally put four stips length ways (one on each side) rather than one around. If it is isis it is possible to do but it takes ages and often will only last for a shortish ride before it needs redoing.

did this on a set of middleburns years ago found that an old milk bottle (plastic) works better because it will compress a bit and then pushes against the crank bolt so it holds better. when i did it, it lasted for about 3 months at a time kept me riding till i could get some new ones
