Rob/Mitch
Basically i need to regain some steerer length on my forks.Because my Simtra frame has quite a long steerer tube, when i changed from my zoo frame i found that it reduced the amount of steerer that stood proud of the headset when built up.Most second hand forks have been cut down so im finding it hard to get some long enough to solve this problem without buying brand new ones.So does anyone know of a low profile headset that will reduce the total length of my steerer tube and giving me a bit more steerer to clamp to?Reason being is that i need to fit a higher stem but they all seem to have oversided clamps which i cant safely clamp to at the moment.Cheers Rob. forteh
I seem to remember the cheap crane creek on tarty is pretty low stack height, failing that the trialtech stem is pretty short stack height
Eduardo
The 9 quid one off tarty is the lowest i think, there not very good but theyll last a year or so if you look after them, maybe try taking some material off your headtube aswell?
