Would This Crank Be Ok?

Right the crank has worn away and is getting more tham annoying now. Of coarse I need a new one (just left) but the only one like it is one off tarty.

Could you please compare mine in the pic with the one on tarty and tell me if it will be ok.

Hold your horses. You need to take the crank bolt out and make sure the square is at the same angle as the crank you are going to get. Sometimes they are offset.

Dont suppose it would be different with it being monty and all that jazz.

The taper will be JIS (same as shimano and 90% of mtb cranks) I think its only campag that uses a different taper; especially as its monty it will be fine :)

erm onza / ddg muscleman cranks, the point of the taper is at 90* to the arm, whereas on t-bird cranks, for rxample, it is at 45*...

id assume as these are both monty it'd fit though :)

im aure tarty'll take it back if it doesn though

Yeah thats what I meant but couldn't explain it properly lol.
