Has anyone else been trying to get in touch with CRC recently and not getting any answer?

I had to return some bits to them the other day and must have phoned 30 times now, each time my phone turning them down saying "number busy." Also sent an e-mail about a week ago and had no reply; all very unlike CRC who have pretty close to an unblemished record for customer service.

Any alternate ways of contacting them would be nice to hear about.

hey are you sending the email to the right department ? i made this mistake :(

and what days have you been ringing ? they dont except calls saturday and sunday .

Phoning CRC is a dead loss based on a few bikemagic threads and people I know personally who've tried it. If you need to phone try first thing in the morning or non-coffee break times during the day as most people trying to phone will try during break/lunchtime or on the hour - persistence seems to be the key...

I had to get an order cancelled and money refunded the other day, sent an email on monday asking them to do it and the money was refunded today, along with an apologetic email.

Not had any problems at all, good luck with it.

Exactly what I thought would happen, as has happened with about the other 500 orders I've ever placed with them, hence my dismay :(

When i returned something once that happened to me, i emailed and they just never replied and i cound't get through on the phones. In the end i sent another email saying please reply asap i have been waiting a week kind of thing and i got a reply within the hour, don't know if it was just fluke or if it was because i was pushy.

Wish they did some kind of reward scheme type thing, must have spent thousands on that site over the years.

So yeah just try emailing them again i would.

I tried about 20 times today from 11-1pm and finally got through. But yeh its like that sometimes which is annoying. Worst after work as all the little kids are on the phones ordering dirt jumper forks and pink grips!

My only real gripe with CRC is when I ordered some manitous which were way cheaper than usual on the site so I said to the sales guy 'can i send them back for defo if they leak as most have the reviews on the site said not to buy for this reason' and the guy promised that I can do that for a full refund or replacement or upgrade if they do break.

Funnily enough 2 months after buying they lock up and leak oil everywhere. I call them and explain and they say it was innapropriate use as it was on a 24/7 dark angel, which they assume must have been dirt jumped as thats what it made for so refused to take it back, then I argued the fact that the sales guy had promised and so finally they agreed only to fix them with a washer as it was a well known problem to them, which they failed to tell me about when I bought them!

It seems to be a common thing on the site that they shift goods that break by selling off at a really low price. Not the best in my opinion.

Anybody else has anything similar?
