Muel
I've done a lot of searching tonight, and I can't find anything that does what I want, I need it for work tommorrow so please help if you can. I need some free web design software with a wysiwyg editor that can edit files that are stored on the server via FTP. This is because the people I work with need to be able to change information on the website themselves at a moments notice.Any help is much appreciated! Danny
Dreamweaver does all that.
Muel
I use dreamweaver here, but I'm not risking installing illegal software at work and then leaving them to their own devices, I could loose my job.
Danny
Filezilla is a good free FTP client. As for WYSIWYG editors for free i don't know of any. Personally i use Eclipse with the aptana plugin (http://www.aptana.com/) but that has no WYSIWYG.
Muel
Just downloaded KompoZer 0.7.10, it seems really good on first glance. The FTP Site manager thingy looks almost the same as DreamWeavers.

Muel
Work can't afford it, and wouldn't buy it anyway if they could.
MadManMike
Well they can't have it both ways - if they want the work done, they've gotta provide you with the tools (Unless you're a sub-contractor or self employed)
