Muel Posted January 12, 2009 Report Share Posted January 12, 2009 They're awful, when the head rounds out you can't get them out easily.I use stainless allen key bolts from my Dad's works, they'll pull the threads from the hub before the snap or the allen socket rounds off. James Shields Posted January 12, 2009 Report Share Posted January 12, 2009 use stainless allen key boltsYeh, this is what i use. much, MUCH prefer them to 'torx' bolts as they are easier to put in and out and just a lot more reliable, get standard 4mm bolts and cut them down to suit your needs.
