Bleeding Hope Mono's

Trials D

Recommended Posts

I Have heard that you HAVE to use dot 4 oil

..But aren't I allowed to use anything else at all like the Maggie's with water ?

Also I need a few spares for it, but I don't know where to get them, I have looked on hopes official site, to me its pants and tarty bikes only have the spares I don't need! , Unless I spend £22 on a braided hose kit!

What is the best solution for me ?

..Thanks for any replies (Y)

i use dot 4 seen as how i have no dot 5.1 however, it makes the brake feel a bit more spongy, if its not bled correctly. on my old mono trial it was fine, with my monty trial i've had to re-bleed again because it felt songey at the lever.

Check chainreactioncylces for you spares.

Right try to use 5.1 as its slightly thinner than 4. Also i replaced all the seals in the caliper and the lever, and the adjuster pin for £12 from www.chainreactioncycles.com There pretty good for all the little spares and free postage ^_^
