Monty 221 Pr Problem And Avid Bb5 Problem!

recently posted a topic in the "New members chat" about buying a monty 221pr i bought the bike

but i have found a few probs with it,

1) the spring in the avid bb5 has broke /gone missing / not working

2) the bb doesnt make a clicking noise but just "jolts" every so often as far as i am aware the hub is a standard monty hub

if you happen to have had these problems or know how to fix the please help

Why have u posted in both threads?

and for the bb5...buy a new one or phone up avid and ask if they can send you a new spring

And bb's arnt ment to make a clciking noise, do you mean the freewheel?, and by jolting is it 'skipping', if so thats probably the freewheel.

right, strip the bb5 apart and find out whats misssing, then contact sram for a replacement part

if the bb jolts the bearings are probably shot and the axle is moving in the cups.... try moving it side to side with your hand to see if its shot
