Onza Blade Build

T-vee Rider

Recommended Posts

After looking at the Onza blade, I have decided to get nearly a complete new build.

I have a couple of questions about the parts i'm hopefully going to order :)

The parts I'm going to order:

Onza Blade frame

Monty 221 Pr stem

Echo low rise bars

TrialTech cranks

Tensile freewheel

Echo isis Bb

Echo urban front and rear rims

Echo lite 07 forks

I'm after cheap but also reliable parts, so would this list be ok?

They are some good prices for good quality products which I have been told to look at :D

Also the Blade frame hasn't got a booster built in, would it be a good idea to get one?

If so a 2-bolt or a 4-bolt?

Thanks for all of your help again :)

A brake booster would aid the rigidity of the frame, but its not a must have. If your that bothered about flex then by all means get one because they do work, but the Blade should be okay without one. As for two or four bolt I'd go two bolt, simple because I had a four bolts for a period and it was pants. The only other thing I can comment on is the Tensile (as its the only thing on the list I have), they are great freewheels for the price, mine has lasted for ages and has'nt skipped once, although I know of a few going wrong and even exploding, in general they are very good.

hope this helped.
