David
I work in one of these bunkers, near Bath/Corsham. I believe it's connected to Burlington, but it's been bricked off at both ends.Awesome. What do you do there?
bikeperson45
Apparently, the one I heard about that might be in Woking, a woman went to a country club and a woman randomly came up to her and said she's been selected to be a teacher in it so the human race would be able to get built up again. The random woman knew everything about her like the day her husband died. They met agian next week and the teacher woman rejected the offer saying she didn't want to leave her family behind. The random lady was never seen again. But everyone tells me this is a load of crap
Tony Harrison
Ha ha, yeah, get built up again... I think teaching would be the last thing on their minds...
Guest
I believe they should fill the area up with water, encourage some wildlife, and give everyone snorkels.

Fish-Finger-er
Yea i know bontddu too, and i could make bontddu to there in 10 minutes on a good day. Erm my mums got a caravan in llanelltyd, so spent a hell of lot of my summers from about 7 till... well till now really messing round that kind of area, from being kids going swimming and mountain biking, too being 20 and going on the lash and riding motorbikes. Ended up gettin into the one at Trawsfynned like 3 days later, got some long nosed mole grips and the one there opened fairly easy, just is obvious as hell, as your stood on the top of a hill in full view of a few houses. Fish-Finger-er
Yeah, my dad used the traws one to hide from lightning one night while he was out on the hill with the horses...Everything was still in there.... he went up there the next week and it had been chained shut... wierd eh! See when you got in there was it flooded aye?Nah it wasnt flooded.it was soaking inside(like carpets etc were damp, but i expected that, as it is still below ground level, even if its on a massive hill)As for it being chained up, you gotta think round there, everyone knows everyone, if one of the people from the houses saw somewhere up there, theyd probably of spoke to the farmer who owns the field about it. and hed of chained it up.To be honest though, Traws is a very very dodgy place when it comes to military stuff and the like. As it used to be a military camp (the whole rhiw goch cottages and ski slope is an old WW2 war base, when going through it you can see the military check points, truck loading bays etc) theres a place over the back towards Abergeiw, where we ride motorbikes, which is like a big loop of of gravel tracks, but is an old army bomb testing range. (as you can see when your there, if you look round, theres a big chunk missing out of the hillside across the lane from there) and theres signs going in there warning you about unexploded munitions being present, and has several earthquake sensors etc placed in the ground there, so they know if any of the stuff buried in the ground/hillside goes off) and between that area and the back of Rhiw Goch theres an underground ammo dump which again you can see from the lane. Also are you aware of the big tarmac clearing in the forest, with the massive military gates on it, again another area we use to ride on the motorbikes as it was ideal for learning wheelies/stoppies etc ( is used occasionally for rally special stages and autotests), well we been up there one day ( as you can fit between the end of the gate and the fence on a motorbike). got round the corner where you couldnt be seen from the road, only to be met with a line of MOD landrovers, and 3/4 four tonne trucks parked up. Presumably where just parked up their, out on a training operation over the mountains. Next time your in the area, i suggest checkin out Friog lake above Arthog if you havent. is well worth just chilling up there for a day with a couple of mates, as it is cool as fook

Fish-Finger-er
Dont know, never heard any of the stuff like that bloke being found dead, i meant more as in 60 years ago, there was a lot of activity round there and it was used to store and test loads of bombs, so you probably shouldnt go diving down all the holes you find there, And be prepared to find a a group of soldiers round the next corner.
