DYAKOV
Ulead Video Studio, Sony Vegas6-9, Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, MAGIX Movie Edit Pro12
Icke84
if you want to use professional software then adobe premiere cs3/cs4 or final cut is the right for you.if you want some cheaper software, then ulead, magix or pinnacle.between these to ranges is sony vegas video.with all of these editing programs you can edit great movies. you only know how the professional software don`t have more videoeffects or something, it has for example the support for professinal tape recorders/player like DigiBeta or HDCam and so on.so you can make the same video with magix movie maker then with premiere pro.hope the english is ok.greetsMarcus

Icke84
it depends on what rawfootage you have.SD, HDV or AVCHD ?if you have SD, any older editingsoftware can handle it.for HDV you need a newer one, but not the newest and for AVCHD support you need the newest Software you can get.if you like premiere and don't wnat to spend to much money on it, take a look at Adobe Premiere ElementsgreetsMarcus Edited January 7, 2009 by Icke84
