Trials D
Right I'm changing the pads on a hydraulic disc brake ....But I'm not too sure how to do it .. ...Because the brake retaining pin has to be undone by a Allen key.... right? Well my Allen key whole (thingy where you put the Allen key) has worn away So how do i get my pads out ?..... Or is it just me being a trials dumb dumb ? Mtchell
Lighter Worked with me.So if I take a block and break it into equal small pieces and say place in the oven for a short while would that work?AND would it stay managable after it cools down? only1monty
The question about the tar, I'd say the best way i've found to use it is to get the wheel spinning really fast, then literally just push the block of tar against the rim, the friction of the wheel should easily melt the tar on the rim. About undoing the allen bolt, if there's any bolt sticking out just get a pair of vice-grips or some kind of locking pliers to hold onto it. Then the pads may well be held with a little bit of magnetism but just pull them out and re-do the process backwards....
