Ben John-Hynes
Cut the steerer down a tad? May save 100g.
Ali C
but then it would ride badly very nice bike ads! Shame I am such a basher otherwise I would have rear disk as well!
..::littlesam::..
Thesehttp://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...category_id=138i would rather die than spend that on bars.Sam X
Ali C
I have a sharpened stick if you want it? (riding anytime Sam?)
Stan Shaw
Rode this bike today and must say it feels very good. Feels similar to my XR26 in terms of how it rides, but with dual disc it's a lot quieter! :$
Ashley-Wood
oh my god thats nice.. those bars look amazing shame about the price also i bet that bike just floats the bashring does it just slot on the bb? or do you need like a certain length bb i like the look of it ha. x

AdamR28
Crank bolts look cool, why not cut a massive hole in the headtube?Could do if I can be bothered, might save 15g!How are those bars doing? Is the geo similar to the Rage bars? Must weigh very little! What's really curious is how exactly does that bashring fit on? Ali had that on his bike too from what I recall. The bars feel really nice, the have a little more sweep than the Rage bars. The weight is 211g! The bashring is clamped in place by tightening the BB in. Yeah Ali has the same system, I have switched mine back to 'normal' now though. The echo headset will be the reason your still over 10kg, try a new one lol. That's an SL headset, very light.Good stuff, I'm gonna be annoying and ask for a full run down of changes from standard Haha, ok ok...Rear rim made single wallBrakes changed to Try-AllPrototype Trialtech SL stemTry-All Carbon barsEcho SL headsetMaxxis tubesRear HansventureReset Ti BBTrialtech Ti bashringTrialtech MG-1 Pedals with Ti axlesPrototype Trialtech SL 7075-T6 rear sprocketLoads of Ti and Alloy boltsnice bike! Get two carbon fibre lever blades and loose the stackers, you surely dont need it that high!Done the lever blades now, the stackers are there for a reason!Looks soo clean! Have you even ridden it yet Liken it.Haha, yes I have, quite a lot actually, just I very rarely hit anything other than the tyres.lighter rotors, carbon blades for the winter, and lighter tyres !!!Im guessing you have already ti and ally bolted it up !!! and want to use standard bits again with no drilling ...I am thinking of trying some other rotors but the ones on at the moment work so well... I'm gonna try a Rubber Queen on the rear but I really like the feel of the Hansventure and the grip of 'proper' tyres. No doubt Dominique's suggestion Would I be right in thinking the "1499" is the price of the bike, that also happens to double as the name? Not at all actually in this case!Yeah, 1499 is the RRP of the complete bike in Euros.Any chance of sending me a high res piccy?Sure, which picture and what size do you need?what rear rime is it ? it looks like single wall!!It was originally a double walled version of the hOle rim with circular drillings, but I cut a wall out of it.Won't let me post all the replies properly (too many quotes) but here they are without quotes:Gogz: You can use any BB but it's best done with that bashring as it is nice and slim. The BB clamps the bashring in place. I can't see any problems unless you smash the hell out of it, although I'm a left footer which means when I miss a large gap the chain is a little exposed... so I have put it back to 'normal' now.Ben: I could, that would mean the bars are too low...Ali: Hehe, just learn to ride left footed :wink2:Stan: Don't worry, your disc will be back on soon! Ashley: Check my reply to Gogz's post, it basically just clamps in with the BB.Heath: Of course mate hahaCheersAdam

forteh
that HAS to take out 8 gramsWhat about the other 72g he wants to get rid of? Very nice, mines lighter though, need to lose 50g to tip 9kg again Try the rubber queen, mines astonishingly grippy, even in snow; the bounce takes a bit of getting used to though
