T-vee Rider
Hello everyone, i'm new to the forum so I though I would just say hello. My name is James and I ride a Onza T-vee with a good spec and i've been nearly riding for 2 years.I can roll-in 4 pallets and sidehop 4 aswell, I can also static 4 but can't seem to keep it The question that I have is now that I have upgraded my spec of my T-vee i'm looking for a new frame, something longer then mine (Around 1020)I will also need a 19" rim for the rear because I'm running a 20" at the moment.I would like to ask you for some advice on both, on the frame I would like advice on Geo and how it will effect my riding. And for the rim, how strong and light diffrent model are etc......Thanks for all the replies that I might will get. Tom Perkins
I would reccomend an Echo Urban rim. I've rode one for quite a while and its still straight whereas I destroyed a Try-All within about 2-3 months. As for the frame it all depends on what bar and stem you use, how tall you are, and a lot of other things will determine how the frame feels to ride. Hope I've helped and welcome to the forum. T-vee Rider
Well the 20" rim I'm using on the back is a echo front and that is pretty strong, but I notice they don't make 07 Echo rims anymore. They only seen to make the Sl, Tr and Urban rims.Am I right in saying the Urban is most like the 07? (Due to it not having many holes drilled in.)I'm looking for a frame which I can use my Echo Team stem on(160x25), and Onza Carbon Riser bars, hope I have gave enough to help you. echo pure08
Welcome to the forum mate it's not going to take long till you get validated if you go by rules. If you are tall you would prefere a longer frame, but if you are not very tall a short frame will be better solution. Mike Poyzer @ Onza
Call me biased but check out the new Onza Blade frame. Good geometry, U6 tubing, disc mount, very good value and probably the lightest frame available for the price. With the money you save you could afford an Onza Pro series rear rim. Guest
HI I believe the best frame to get when going into beginner/intermediate is probable the zona zip they ride so smoooth no crack GOOD value for money and there are lots of deals with them at one stage it waas buy a Zona Zip frame and get a Chris King headset for free in green. Honestly a few of my freinds have had these bikes and have complained about nothing. This bike would suit u perfectly because you can transfer almost all of your parts from you Onza T Vee to the Zona. And if you had not noticed, Onza make ZonA rearrange the letters.:]I hope i have been of help to youx
