NVWOCI WVS
This was one in a pub. It fell over. Damnit.Just short of the first million before it toppled. This one beats ours though
Tomm
I had 300 1p pieces and 200 2p pieces in a tub in my flat at uni. Tried stacking them up. Got a fairly large amount of height on it with loads left over, but they get well tech to balance. C'est la vie.I heard a 'fact' the other day:If Bill Gates were to avoid the credit crunch by withdrawing his money (in $10 bills) and keeping it under his bed, it would be so high that if he fell out of bed in the middle of the night, it would take 20 minutes before he hit the floor. Which, frankly, beats your £7 tower

Which, frankly, beats your £7 tower yeah but how high is his bed to begin with? and if the bed was a king then it would need more 10s across. Mark W
Stuff'cos they've got crappy paper notes, it'd take fewer pennies to get the equivalent height, so it'd require less overall money I suppose...

Danny
I don't think $6,000,000 would get you a boat half that size.E.g. $5.1 million gets you this second hand...
Token
I'd go to thailand and buy one. Everyone knows its cheap in thailand. Don't urinate on my bonfire again.
Spikenipple
I would buy $6m of Income Bonds and watch the interest come flooding in.
manuel
I would buy $6m of Income Bonds and watch the interest come flooding in.Dull as dishwater ...I would have a bristol home built by the georgians, a car from the 60's, suits from saville row, a load of flats to rent out (at quickly rising prices?!?) then spend the rest of my life going on luxurius holidays ... PaRtZ
I would apply for planning permission to build a house a trials park somewhere in an inconvienient place or in the middle of nowhere. Then I would obviously design the house as big and as awesome as possible, and buy number 10 downing street, and have all the bricks crushed and use all the gravel created, to line my driveway. Id make sure all the workers on the house were top civil engineers and not lazy sods. The house would be big enough to ride through without getting off too . Then I would live in the house with my family and probably carry on working like normal.I don't think I could live in a mansion of 40 bedrooms, library, study etc etc. Just a big family house would do me nicely. Also there would have to be quite a lot of land for the rally course Id want to build in the back garden too, and thus race + tune 205's allllll weekend
Muel
I'd go and live with Matt, then we'd have $12 million to play with. In a non-gay way, your plan was just pretty similar to mine haha. Edited December 31, 2008 by Muel

Captain Scarlet
6 million dollars onto one area, hobby or subject..?I'd have a gigantic play arena and/or gym (you know an upscaled kids play gym, with ball pools and obstacles etc).Think what 6 million could get you in that, you could be in there for hours without seeing the same obstacle twice.
