Just to let anyone whos' travelling from Southampton, Eastleigh and Portsmouth areas to Worthing. There are no trains running betwen Barnham and Angmering, there are replacement buses running between these stations.

Chances are you wont get your bike on the bus.

Just thought I'd let you all know.

ive just taken a look on the website it says there is a cycle policy (meaning you can take your bikes on the bus)

theres nothing that states bikes are not allowed on the bus so 'legaly' you can.

if your traveling from up here just make sure you buy your ticket from a machine and not a ticket booth thing.

(this happened once before but we're quite freindly with the people on the tickets in eastleigh and they said go and get your ticket from the machine and they will have to let you on the bus when you get there)

Maybe so, but given that all stations in the region show where there are engineering works for the weekend, it does state that bulky luggage, pushchairs and cycles will not be taken on replacement buses. So If you get to Barnham, the bus driver has every right to refuse your bike.

So just be prepared, this has happened to me a few times before, and since then I don't bother travelling when buses are involved, unless I can go a different way and avoid the bus or I'm 100% positive that I'l get my bik on the bus.
