Mikee Posted January 4, 2009 Report Share Posted January 4, 2009 My first frame was a 24" unbranded frame i got for £5.Then I got a 26" bike which was a shockwave or something.The I replaced the 26" frame with a saracen mad.I then snapped the crappy 24" frame and saved up some money and xmas money and bought an Onza Zoot (wich I still have and love:))And finally I replaced the saracen mad frame with an Ashton Justice about a month ago and I am really getting along with it. Gilman Posted January 5, 2009 Report Share Posted January 5, 2009 Monty 219 alp, got rid of it as I wanted something lighter.Monty 220, broke.Monty 221, broke it.Outback, hand made custom trials frame, not mine just used it until I could get a new bike.Monty 231, it was ok for a first stock bike but i really hated the geo.Echo es4, sold it as it was really short and had a huge dent in the downtube.PX tibo, Sold it because I wanted something stiffer and a different geo.BT 6.0. riding now but I am getting something new in the next few months.The next frame is either going to be a 44 califera or a *** - WTF or something else that I can find that I like.Anyone want to donate a frame to me? (still being ridden to this day as a road bike) Trials with triple chainrings is coooool.2. DMR sidekick - awesome bike - FSA powerpros <50mm stem high rise bars and gears.... The Plymouth year ...3. Orange zero - my first trials bike, first year at uni, and unfortunately - stolen .... 4. Orange zero - replacement - 3pc cranks, gears, shorter stem and high rise bars - double discs this time - Stolen 5. Curtis - pace forks, red tyres (oh yeah), A VIDEO !!, yep you guessed it ... Stolen.6. ECHO PURE 04 1060 - red tyres, carbon bars, still a seat of sorts, still gears - one of the best frames ever made. Film for the future and then Jump7. Decided to try a KOT had it for a few weeks, hated it - then went back to the echo... And Now8. Zoo pitbull - the echo broke after a day of riding with one side of my proII not done up - doh - hated it had it a week or two then got rid.9. Zona zenith - had it a day then got out the home welding kit to go back to 6. ECHO PURE 04 1060 - but eventually that broke but not before I managed to source...10. ECHO PURE 04 1060 - now into single speed, vees, colour, BB7s, matching levers . DreamsOfGlass... then I got facebooked ...11. Ashton Justice - the 1055 version until 12 Proto Ashton 26" - fully pimped with team green and Trialtech love. 13 Proto Ashton 24" (x2 for colour) - more fully pimped action. Double disc, narrow bars, gyro that I took off some proto bits wow - its a lot more than i thought...If you don't count replacements and ones i hated and had for 5 mins then its 6 frames in 10 years - mostly thanks to the Echo. Billys Peashooter, with Marzocchi Jnr Ts, soon replaced with the very bendy Kona project 2s 2. 2 x DMR Sidekick, both cracked just below the gusset on the downtube3. 2 x Orange Zero, one cracked at the driveside chainstay/bb shell weld, the other sold for a small fortune.4.
