Jaffacakes
Your alternator might be on the way out, so its not charging the battery very much, just enough to start it when its warm? Do you have a sub or anything linked to the battery that doesn't tern off?
Thurston
Nah it standard, nothing added at allWas thinkin it might be the alternator but i checked that when the car was running and it gives out the right ammount of charge for it to be working
Jaffacakes
It could be anything really. Might be a faulty boot switch so the light in the boot stays on, or something simple like that.Your best bet is to get a battery current reader, and take out the fuses one by one, and see which one drains the charge the most. I imagine it will take a week or two, but at least it will give you a much better idea what is causing it.

CurtisRider
Whats the difference between a 1.4 xr and a 1.4 xs engine apart from the carbs? After having a wee play in my roland garros (xs engine) im tempted to build all the decent parts onto my xr (gti bumpers, wheels, etc). What sort of power can i expect from it? The xs is 85bhp standard-is it an easy engine to get much more out of? Just want a car for cheap thrills if i ever take my audi off the road for any reason. Pashley26
that black 944 in the background looks gorgeousI'll give you a clue, it runs on 2.8 Ford running gear and is multi point injection with a slipper on the back and a 5 speed box.
