maxpark3r Posted December 15, 2008 Report Share Posted December 15, 2008 Hi,Not sure what back brakes to get, I have heard from friends that hydraulic brakes , Magurra, are the best for a back wheel and that disc brakes are best in the rain also that v-brakes aren't very good so hopefully understandably I am a bit confused. It never hurts to change it and find what you like He means as in pads grind etc and something like an avid ultimate not a stock onza mate. xYeah, decent pads, arms and cables are important, so are levers but to a lesser extent.A standard onza/tektro brake will never be as good as an avid ultimate Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
