N.Wood
Whilst I should probably know this, would there be anything stopping me running an ENO on some sort of fixed 135mm hub?Why don't people do this too often? Would be easier to change from my current set up to this rather than going FFW (and I like my trousers).Cheers!
monkeyseemonkeydo
No reason not to. The only drawback is that you'd have to run a 22T front cog which is a bit on the big side by todays standards.Edit: I should also point out that you wouldn't ruin your trousers running FFW provided you use a bashguard. I run my Inspired FFW with a GU bashring and have never caught my troos in it.
N.Wood
Something I had over looked! I guess this is the reason you don't see many around...Edit: Interesting... The one bike I've ridden thats been ffw (had a bash) I caught my trousers in it, and happens pretty often to some beys round here all with bashguards. RossMcd
I have a monty freewheel on the back! and it runs fine dont see why it wouldnt work to be honest!
eskimo
An Eno rear and Middleburns with 22t would be what i'd run. I've just never bothered with it. Only problem is the freewheel will get in the way of wheel building.
psycholist
Not if you take the freewheel off before building the wheel - you probably will have to unless you find a hub with huge flanges.
