Jack.lad
eloo there , i have a monty 221 pr with the standard magura louise disks on it but i was thinking about changing to vee brakes ? i was looking at the shimano xtr's then use some plazmatics or heatsink pads on it . but would it be a good idea to do this to my monty or not ? cheers Jack
Bionic Balls
in general...vees on mod is a nightmare because they don't clear the huge tyre properly..! should be alright on the front, but the back usually gives issues..vees rock though adam

Jordan GU
I would stay with disk's to be honest. But its up to you if your guna change get a magura or echo hydro rim brake they are sharper than vee's.

Skoze
IT depends what you want froma brake too! Most vees tend to have alot less bite than a magura, so if you can cope with that, go for it! They have insane hold, though.Try heatsink adapters, if you use the middle hole, *hopefully* there won't be too bad-a-clearance issue
tinytipper
i had an avid vee brake on a mod (t-comp) and it was better than the old disc brake it had on!i would recomend it
