Cats hate citrus, so if they smell it they piss off sharpish.As has been said - get one from a shelter. You can still get younger cats from there, and it's a much better proposition than just buying a kitten from a shop, especially if you're not 100% your family will want to keep it anyway.interesting, reckon they will have already been vaccinated and shit too? Almost all our cats have been from shelters and they've all been awesome (Apart from Harvey, who was a stray near us, but then got taken out on the road, so we nursed him back to health (That was 10 years ago), and now he's living in our house).
