Wonder if this works with bigger cats, i.e could i cover meself in lemon peel, and run into the enclosure at bristol zoo, and take down a frightened tiger

Only one way to find out!

Video or it didn't happen. Pictures just wouldn't cut it...

bit off topic for the christmas cat thing but on topic for lemon, Cats keep shitting all over my garden and in my shed we've tried everything like tiger shit around where they enter and i was tempted to put deep heat down because someone said they eat it and youd never see them again, but i didnt want to be a cat killer

back on topic get the kitten if your family dont like it after a year sell it on while it's still cute

If you want a cat to stop scratching something, rub it (Not the cat...) with lemon or orange zest. Cats hate citrus, so if they smell it they piss off sharpish.

As has been said - get one from a shelter. You can still get younger cats from there, and it's a much better proposition than just buying a kitten from a shop, especially if you're not 100% your family will want to keep it anyway.

interesting, reckon they will have already been vaccinated and shit too?

cats are awsome, especialy when they are kittens :P

my cat got pregnant and had 4 of them, sadly 2 of them and their mother were hit by cars including my 1 here:

Why let 'em outside or generally have 'em if there just gonna get killed.. surely its cruel?

lol no i didnt know they would be, the 1st was 1 of the kittens, then their mother (who you would think would know better) then the fluffy thing on last page. he went out at 4am and was real timid, he never left my side and would sit on the stairs waiting for me to come home lol. always slept on my bed ect. miss the little bugger :(

They get neutered/spayed and vaccinated as soon as they get taken in, as far as I know - if they didn't, and they had any sort of illness, it'd just go through the other cats there instantly so it makes sense for the shelter owners to keep on top of things. Almost all our cats have been from shelters and they've all been awesome (Apart from Harvey, who was a stray near us, but then got taken out on the road, so we nursed him back to health (That was 10 years ago), and now he's living in our house).

Exactly,

Hence why my cat is just over a year old and hasn't been out yet.

Especially if there are a lot of birds or other wildlife about, they'll chase them and soon end up somewhere bad.

Cat's take like 6 months to become adults?

My cat was allowed to go out when she was like 4 months old...

What's wrong with cats catching birds and other animals..?

Wtf, ovbiously if 2 have got killed whats gonna stop it from happening to the rest FFS GRANT f**k OFF YOUR GETTING ON MY NERVES!

So humans should be kept indoors at all times?

Is that you in your display picture? What I was expecting you to look like really....
