PeteM
Hi, I used to ride trials about 8 or 9 years ago riding a modified GT Zaskar LE but since then I have not been out on my bike at all and been out of the mounting biking/ trials scene altogether. I am now looking at getting back into it again but I am baffled by the number of trials specific frames available.I have got a new Specialized Rockhopper Expert Disc through my company's ride to work scheme so I am now looking at building up a trials specific bike and just need a new frame (I plan to transfer the trialsy parts off my old Zaskar onto the new frame).I am 6'2" and weigh about 14 stone - could anyone please recommend a solid frame for me (ideally under £200) to start off with and whether to either get a proper trials specific frame or get a small framed dirt jump bike. Many thanks in advance. Skoze
Hey, it's good to have some old schoolers getting back into it!I'd recommend a trials specific frame, but coming from the good old days you might be better suited to something with a more streety geo? Maybe even a 24"? Trials bikes have come so far since the old gt's, it's insane!! You've certainly got plnty of options now!I've got a frame hanging on my wall at the moment that may be right up your street if you'd fancy a fun streety trials rig?Add me on msn/ send me an e-mail at skozeone@hotmail.co.uk if you like Hope you enjoy the new trials scene!
