Magura are the standard. It's old and it works.

Echo CNC brakes are basically the same caliper (no crap about it being a cylinder, the cylinder is only one part of the caliper), except the lever assembly is CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) machined from solid billit, and not cast.

Echo brakes look NICER.!!!

Any More info. just ask.

I am a CNC Machinist myself.

As people have said mate maguras are weak!!

I,ve not blown any pipes yet , but have snapped 2 levers and 2 leaked ,

I,ve replaced them now and seem to running ok ,

Echo's do look smarter ,But i,ve never used them as of yet, Maguras are a well established brake making company thats the reason why i,m sticking with them,

Like many questions on T.F its down to your own preference....

Both have there strengths and weaknesses i guess,

Echo brakes have smaller slaves which means you wont clip your ankles, But you may not be able to use your pads to there full extent as you wont be able to push the slaves in further. Magura have bigger slaves so you may catch your ankles more but you can use your pads to there full extent.

Theres not really much point in paying more money for the echo brake is just a gloryfied magura. Also the echo brakes used to leak with a water bleed, And some people said stuff about the metal being eaten and stuff.
