pitbull-phil
the xen seems a popular helmet then, i was over at stif cycles yesterday and the xen seemed to be the one that i liked the most out of the few they had, they seem to do some rather cool designs too, thanks for your help

Jake Beach
Didnt think you were aloud to compete without a lid?Have got one and always wear it at them. It is a black try-all nuc. I did not include it because he said he did not want a pisspot.
mike137
I personally use a piss pot (bright purple too) for trials due to the added back of the head protection, but for xc i use an old Met scudo in carbon and yellow and for DH i use a 661 Comp in blue. Mtchell
Hhhmmm Giros are what everyones wearing the most efficient shape for a helmet in a crash, Round, smooth surfaces slide well and "scrub off" energy from a crash, while avoiding any tendency for the helmet to snag and jerk the rider's neck.Well vented allowing your head to release heat gained due to riding, and are slightly extended at the back for when the rider lands flat on there back.Narrowing the chances of a whiplash effect on the neck which in turn can cause serious or even fatal damage. They might not look as cool as the pisspots but there are sure as hell safer.
