Haha, good point.

But it proves they're not gay, people just like to call them gay because deep down, they know they would never be man enough to ride a fixie brakeless on busy roads. Even though i've ridden trials, since riding fixed, my legs have stengthened SO much. And to do tricks on a fixie is so friggin hard. I still think trials is THE hardest sport to learn, because it's sooo different to every other style of bike/balance, and if you have trials balance you can do anything else on a bike that requires balance. But still, fixed tricks are close to trials. It's hard enough to even bunnyhop one more than 10".

Haha.

I just dont understand why you would do tricks on a road bike, Its just easier and funner to do it on a bmx?

Skinny ass wheels cant be good for 180's either, and the frames are shit. The whole bikes are just shit :P

Why do tricks on a road bike? there designed for going fast not BMX like abuse...

I can understand using one to commute, they look awesome with single speed and no breaks. But there not even good for that, wreckless going down hills and shit for riding up hills.

It's very fun to do it on a fixie.

'Skinny wheels' they're tough as you need, really, what it comes down to is how the wheel is built (well, lots of spokes, 3x) The frames aren't shit, infact, there are frames coming from BMX and downhill bike companies such as Brooklyn Machine Works... So it's not just a 'weak, shit, speed orientated frame'

Fair enough, a bit hard to go down hill, but you've just gotta work your legs, i spose it's the only way going down hill tires you out, and for up hill, with my light, decent road bike with gears, i have to get out of the saddle and go down to a really low gear, to get up hills that i don't even have to get out of my saddle on, on my fixie. The fixed wheel pushes your legs aswell as you pushing the cranks, so it's all good.

What the shitting f**k are you on about? Ever ridden a track bike? They're perfect for riding up hill! As for downhill, if you know how to ride properly it's not wreckless at all and is a lot of fun.
