psycholist
Turn the spanner the same way as the cranks turn when pedalling forwards. If the BB tool keeps moving use a crank bolt into the BB axle and a washer to hold the BB tool firmly into the spline - Those pressed steel spanners you get free with some bikes are ideal for this (Only place they should be used in bike maintenance). Get the longest wrench you can too, the longer the lever you're using the less force you need to apply to it, so the less chance of nasty accidents if anything does slip or break. Gogz-
There is other ways of getting them out but they can all end in you Fu£king your frame up .If your going to bodge it out you will need a drill, hammer, hack saw, an assortment of flat headed screwdrivers and a blow torch can help
shamus
if you dont need the bb then soak in degreaser or pentrating oil, give it time to do the business then try againIf you do need it then some of these 'release sprays' work by rapidly freezing the bolt, if you can cool the bolt rapidly the it cracks the rust/ contact and makes removal easier. otherwise its precision blowtorch and rapid cooling which could damage the bb.try googling releasing stuck bolts, loads of options but all pretty destructive to the bb
