Adam Fisher
Buying a trials bike off a mate tommorow but it doesn't have a stem or a chainSo anybody know any good reasonably priced parts for a beginner?Oh and its a mod forgot to mention that.We need to know what mod bike though, especially for the stem because there is different lengths and rises. There is a certain stem that will suit certain bikes. Dan81
Oh dear, no one seems to be replying so here goes......as said the stem depends on the bike, your height and how you want the bike to feel but have a look on Tartybikes website. The lads at the shop have always been really helpful to me so maybe one you've narrowed it down ask their advice before ordering.Chain: I got a chunky looking KMC Kool chain, again from Tartybikes.co.uk for £12 and seems to do the job nicely. matt-richardson
Its a Da Bomb Pro 05 I think. And I'm about 5' 7". I'd like the front to be easy to pull up and be light as I'm not the biggest guy in the world
Dan6061
You'd probably find it easier with a high rise stem, I should imagine? What handlebars has it got, if any? The Da Bombs had a smaller clamp size compared tothe majority of trials bars, so that'd also help us help you. For the chain, get a KMC Kool 1/8" - http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...p;category_id=7Cheap and strong. I've used nothing but them!
