Bigman
Hey guys and gals. Here are some pictures of my new Rockman ISIS frame which i built up, kindly supplied along with the bars and a few other goodies from Rockman bikes them selves as they are my new sponsor!Pics:Spec:Rockman ISIS FrameKoxx ForkTMS 135mm x 25deg stemRockman riser bar Cane Creek S3 headsetTry-all 170mm cranks, 18t trialtech sprocket and atomz bashMOE 68 x 128, M15 BB with alu boltsFront Viz disc hub, custom milled echo 06 rim, try-all TyreRear CK classic (turquiose), Atomz light rim with extra drilling, trialtech CF spacers and 16t sprocket Continental rubber queen tyreHome made flexy tensionerRear Hs33, 4 finger lever blade, modded echo clamps and 2 bolt RB boosterFront magura Marta with braided hosing and Shimano XT servo wave lever 190mm magura SL rotorWeight is 9.8KGFirst impressions: After being for a ride today is that the frame is very stiff, comparable to the coustellier i had previously, i am not using the horizontal dropouts as they are designed to run 18 - 15 and i run 18 - 16 so i need to run a tensioner but i am not to bothered about that as i needed to do that on the coust too. It seems to fly up taps, realy easy, i am having a few problems getting my weight forward but i think that was mainly due to it being the first ride on the new bike, so i am sure that soon enough it will be all good, sidehops very well, nailed one of my largest sidehops to rear today which made me happy. The handle bars felt very strange after coming from trialtech risers but after an hour or so i had got used to them and they feel realy nice, makes the front end a little higher which in tern makes the riding position very comfortable (for my tall self) especialy when just moving around on 2 wheels on rocks etc, Overall i am realy pleased to have got the chance to ride for Rockman and feel that the frame and bar suit my riding very well.Enjoy.Adam
