CC12345678910
Heres the deal. Which pads do I choose: 1) heatsink pads (any, I'm not sure which to pick) 2) Atomz Pads in powerpad backings (cheap option)3) Atomz Pads in Heatsink backings.I'm using an 05 spec maggie with a less than perfect oil bleed (I'm gonna sort that though), deng lever blade, a smooooth onza ronnie rim, no booster and original Zoo! pads (which are suprisingly awful) @ the moment.EDIT: I am NOT going to get a grind. Nick Manning
I've not used a smooth rim so I can't really give much help. But I have found phat pads and Heatsink pads, both on cnc backings to be great on a grind and long lasting. Might help you slightly.

imhereithink
When i ran a smooth rim i had the Koxx browns, which i found worked really well for me with a light use of tar on one side of the rim
Rumplestiltskin
Rock greens. So so so sticky. Best pad I've ever used and have performed brilliantly on my stock and 24. They're designed for smooth rims as well, as opposed to all the other pads people seem to be reccomending.

Just don't use them in the wet, as with all smooth rim setups though.
