weebryan
i read on here that riding with music on can get you motivated a bit..i tried it.the cable pissed me off...and it kinda distracted me from riding! i was bouncing to beat and not paying any attention to the wall i was falling off...any tips? I normaly ride with a bag (empty pockets) and leave it on the ground when ridding. So im thinking i could get a bluetooth earphone adaptor which can use any earphones and leave my player (my phone) in my bag, this means nothing in my pockets which i hate almost wire free(extra wire i will tuck down my top from earphones and wont miss calls) and my adaptor hanging around my neck tuck in sony bluetooth bluetooth earphones and adaptorearphones or something similarthe other alternitive is mp3 in your pocket and wire it under your t shirt to your headps biffy clyrocreed alterbridgepearljamsystem of a down rodrigo and y gabriela for guitar fans seen them live amazing to watch Edited December 6, 2008 by weebryan

Ben-jamin'
I listen to a lot alternative. I enjoy Wintersleep, Tokyo Police Club, Coldplay, Radiohead, and Broken Social Scene. Radiohead is great when you're riding, same with Biggie Smalls haha.
psycholist
Try The Four Seasons from Vivaldi - nothing short of fantastic, especially Winter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8dq9NodWDY - this must be played loud for best effect (Try to ignore the video though - the man can play, but has a face and demeanor for radio)... But then again I have a dance version of Grieg's 'In the Hall of the Mountain King' on my playlist too, as well as surprisingly well fitted mix of Prodigy's Smack my Bitch up and Enya's Orinoco Flow, so I'll listen to almost anything while riding my bike except for whiny guitar rock which I'd just rather not listen to - is it just me or are there about 10,000 bands all producing whiny guitar based music that all sounds exactly the same except to the people who try and foist it on you as being brilliant, then when you say the song they've put on does nothing for you they switch to another track that sounds exactly the same but is from a different band, confident you'll like this new song...Almost every track on every album Muse have made since Origin of Symmetry is brilliant, as is almost everything from the Gorillaz (Except the remixes, which mostly come across as poor versions of the original songs). Korn and Lipsknot are also good listening to ride a bike to ...
Dan S
I really like riding with erotic lounge......it's calming, you know. Also I always listen Hip hop because it sorta fills me with energy.....but now i mostly listen to old smooth hip hop like Ice cube in 2000 ("Untill we rich" is a great example)Errm.....sometimes i find some krump music on my Iphone....very powerful.! I turn it on when I need a of power concentrated in me.All in all: i lprefer relaxing music for riding, but when I need to ROCK, i turn on something different Edited December 9, 2008 by Dan S

Alien
Depending on what mood I'm in, I usually listen to some DnB (C&S, Pendulum, Sub Focus etc). But also like to dab into the occasional rock (Slipknot, KoRn, etc) if I want to ride abit faster.
