Revolver
It might be your lack of grammar.for example, none of your recent posts begin with a capital letter, or use commas and full stops correctly.
nazzurro19
Whoa, you serious? Things like this affect it? What happens if your dislexic, this website is surly discriminating against dislexic people
Gogz-
Whoa, you serious? Things like this affect it? What happens if your dyslexic, this website is surly discriminating against dyslexic peopleIf you are dyslexic (like me) then you have got to try harder and use a spell check and read through your posts before you post them. That's what i had to do to get validated and still do now. All they want is to see that your going to take some pride in what your saying and your not going to spam the site with posts that no one can read. Just keep working at it and you should be validated. Edited December 1, 2008 by Gogz-

Krisboats
Whoa, you serious? Things like this affect it? What happens if your dislexic, this website is surly discriminating against dislexic peopleYeah, thats pretty much it. We don't like dyslexics As gogz has pointed out, dyslexia isn't really too big a problem now, especially as your using a computer to write the post... a spell checker isn't hard to use.Basically wjhen i'm looking at validating someone i look at all their posts, look for capital letters, see how long they've been using capital letters (2 days or so and i usually wait a bit longer) then look at the quality of their posts.Reading the stickies at the top of the page would have told you something pretty similar though. Not ture.In a thread about spelling your accuracy is currently 50%

quick_spider
Whoa, you serious? Things like this affect it? What happens if your dislexic, this website is surly discriminating against dislexic peopleYes. Sentences start with a capital letter. This has precisely sweet FA to do with dyslexia.I will continue to discriminate against people who think they can play the dyslexia card when they're clearly too lazy to put effort into their posts.Good luck getting validated - suggest you read the sticky on how to get validated as it's all in there.Jon

nazzurro19
I have read the " stickies " as you say, and no im not dyslexic i was just pointing it out. As for this whole 100% perfect punctuation why is this? Surely if people dont swear, dont be racist and all the rest of that lark then missing a capitial letter here or there shouldn't be a problem. If i go about reading posts i dont see any really that have a full stop at the end of a sentence or a capital letter after a question mark or exclamation mark. Look at your first post in this topic for example. No beginning capital letter, no sentence structure... just one long ramble. It just shows laziness and a lack of consideration. If you look in full members there's a lot of punctuation and grammar used.
EchoSam
In all honesty arguing with the mods isn't the best of ideas . one because it's their rules and choice who gets validated. And there are people on here who have been here much longer than you and aren't validated. So I would just leave it and be patient.Tom
quick_spider
When I validate someone, I look back through their recent posts. If there's no capital letter at the beginning of each post, they're not going to get validated.I'm not asking for perfect grammar and punctuation, just some effort. It's very good practice for the real world when dealing with people and businesses. Carelessness in communication gives a bad impression.Jon

Tamnessâ„¢
I agree with everything that has been said in this post, mainly because it's been drilled into me by a hell bent grammar freak of an english teacher. You might also want to try posting in threads where you feel you could make a meaningful point or add a different point of view to a discussion. This is the main reason my post count is quite low, most of what I want to say has already been said or I don't feel I could add to a post.Tam
kona1991
Ha, when I was actually into trials biking, I tried so hard to become validated. However due to the way to over strict rules, I was never validated and so haven't been on here in ages. To be honest, I feel the mods just pick and choose who they want to validate, with no real Fair selection process. The next stage for this forum is for it to become invite by mods only... Mtchell
Kona if you have'nt been on in ages then they probably did right in not validating you in all fairness mate They do have a fair selection process as my mate whos also a member has been validated for a post he posted.Which was well worth him getting validated, I personally have'nt yet posted a topic or reply which has gained me a validation , Same with many people on the site but you don't hear them complaining. If you want validating read the rules and try helping people out with things you know about. M

To be honest, I feel the mods just pick and choose who they want to validate, with no real Fair selection process. The next stage for this forum is for it to become invite by mods only...You spent a few days putting up a fair whack of posts in july which were intermittent with regards to grammar. You didn't show up again until september at which there was no use of grammar and you still haven't used grammar until 2 posts before this one. It looked like really tried, oh so hard I've not been a mod for long but the validation process works best if you post regularly (i check the list every few days and its based on most recent post first) and use good grammar along with being helpful and friendly. You shot yourself in the foot by not doing the first two at all. With the amount of rubbish posted in new members a well constructed post using capital letters at the start of sentences sticks out like a sore thumb if i see you and your past few days of posts are of the same quality you get validated.Kona if you have'nt been on in ages then they probably did right in not validating you in all fairness mate They do have a fair selection process as my mate whos also a member has been validated for a post he posted.Which was well worth him getting validated, I personally have'nt yet posted a topic or reply which has gained me a validation , Same with many people on the site but you don't hear them complaining.
