I have a newer style magura and when i pull the lever it goes solid as i pull it into the bars and it doesnt move. My brake sometimes doesnt hold. Normally when I pull my maggy in I can feel it being spongy, but now it feels solid and it wont move anymore.

What could it be ?

Hey bud, sound like it needs to be bled. Can you explain to me detailed what you mean by stiff.

When its this time of year your brake may freeze if you have a water bleed ? otherwise your pistons may be right up againts the sidewalls on your rim or your tpa wheel is wound too far out.

Hope i have given you some ideas to think about and check XD

Its not froze. but cheers for advice ill go try now and cheers ross (Y)
