grant_hundley
You're a typical new member aren't you? It's down to preference, but most use 12t.

grant_hundley
Silly little questions every ten minutes that could all be put in one thread, but you have to make lots of topics...And there isn't a correct answer to any of them. ZeroMatt
Thought it was 18:15, 18:12 is similar to 22:15 which is really quite hard seeing as the norm is 22:

Jason222
Usually most mod riders use 18:12. You change how hard the gearing feels based on the length of your crank. 18:12 with 160 mm length cranks feels quite hard, similar to 18:15 with 170s on a stock. The longer the crank, the lighter the gearing will feel. I'd recommend 18:12 with 165 or 170 mm length cranks. JonMack
I use 18:12 and I've run 170s, 175s, and I now run 158s.
bendy
this might be helpful to compare to other gear ratios you have run.http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....p;#entry1725454when u get the file just fill in the cells with a bold title above them I'm pretty sure it works.
