Ben John-Hynes
The wheel may not be dished properly, meaning that the spokes on one side of the wheel are pulled tighter than the opposite side.I did a wee diagram for you; you SHOULD get the idea from it;

Dave_Finney
Yea the wheel is dished correctly, it hits the centre of the yoke and both sides too!
Callum.Curwood
Is it rubbing on the top or bottom chain stay? And if the tryer is to big it should hit both sides? If it only hits one side then get it dished abit?
Dave_Finney
Its hitting both sides at on the chainstay yoke. i know they have short chainstays but its only a 2.4. was wondering what other typhoon riders were running and if anyone knew if a 2.35 maxxis would fit in.Dave

If it only hits one side then get it dished abit? The top ones are seat stay not chain stays mate (even though the frame does not have a seat)If it's rubbing on both sides then yes the tyre is too big. Dave_Finney
lol, yea i know, its not rubbing on the seatstays! its rubbing all over the yoke on the chainstays. in the middle and at both sides. And i know the tyre is too big, this is obvious. i just want to know before going out and buying another tyre that doesnt fit what will go on ok.Dave Edited November 27, 2008 by Dave_Finney
N.Wood
The Maxxis 2.4s are pretty huge compared to the 2.35s.I don't have the frame, but i'd be pretty certain a 2.35 Maxxis Highroller/Minion would go in fine
