Lar
Just got back into trials after a few years away, played with some natural the other day and enjoyed the change, so was wondering about other good natural spots near-ish (i have nothing against a bit of a mish for some decent riding) to plymouth?Suggestions of other decent places to play around here would be good too, now i've got a car don't want to or have to ride the same places all the time!Cheers

Rich Pearson
One word: Dartmoor. Some of the best competitive natural and training ground of some of the UK's top riders (Andrei Burton, Andy Pooley, Joe Seddon, James Porter, etc)Rich

Lar
Cheers guys, a dartmoor mish will definatley be on soon.N.Wood - i think there's a chance i met you today, selling my mate some forks and a disk? Like i said only just got back into trials really, but learning again fairly quick, and probably better now than i was before i quit, which is pretty good. Tend to ride mainly locally to us (plympton area, pretty dull) but probably gonna get involved with the plymouth scene a bit more soon. Pretty keen for doing more natural now though, never really done it before so it's good to ride something different. Been riding looe a bit recently aswell which is damn good fun. N.Wood
Ah yeah, good stuff! As I said we're usually around, if you pop into Plymouth on a sat/sun when its sunny theres usually at least one person out and about.

N.Wood
Aim for Bone Hill, stop at anything that looks interesting on the way. Or go to Bone Hill, have a look at some tors and head for them and see what they do for you.Did I mention Bone Hill?
Rich Pearson
It might seem a bit of a piss-take, but Nick's post is actually as accurate as you need for it to be. Me, Joe Seddon, Andy Pooley and Matt Tupman used to spend whole days with the OS map, standing on a tall spot and saying "Whats that place over there like?" (probably pointing to some far away tor.)Finding the good riding spots was usually just as much fun as riding them.Rich

shamus
just wondering if you guys had taken a look at the rocks over by chelston meadow (the tip ) just by the entrance is a rock lined avenue, some interesting problems especially where the builders have piled the rocks up to improve their own access!
