Right guys, I have got to do a survey for science on broken bones, but I don't know anyone who has broken a bone and I need 5! I have kind of thought quite a few of you guys have broken a bone.

Sensible answers please. Things like flushing a toilet for hobbies will not be included.

I only need 5 4 3 2 1 woop woop got more than 5. :)

If so here are the questions:

1. Gender

2. Age

3. Amount of exercise

4. Height(m)

5. Medication(optional)

6. Smoke yes/no(amount smoked a day)

7. Occupation

8. Hobbies(trials included!!)

9. Previous injuries

10. What bone did/ have you broken?

11.Type of fracture(hairline, full crack, multiple etc)

12. Healing time(days/weeks/months)

13. Age when broken

Answers to questions would be much appriciated. These are not my individual questions, they are ones my science class came up with. If you will complete the survey for me copy and paste the questions into your post.

1. Gender - Male

2. Age - 22

3. Amount of exercise - 6 days a week, 1 hour minimum

4. Height(m) - Whatever 5'11" is

5. Medication(optional) - None

6. Smoke yes/no(amount smoked a day) - Quit very recently, probably only about 5 a day on average before then

7. Occupation - Sales Exec

8. Hobbies(trials included!!) - Running, Driving, Cycling, Fitness in general

9. Previous injuries - Pretty much too many to list, covered in the question below

10. What bone did/ have you broken? - Left tibua twice, right fibua once, left collar bone, both wrists, normal toes and fingers

11.Type of fracture(hairline, full crack, multiple etc) - Hairline in left tibua, full crack in left tibua and right fibua and collar bone, multiple in wrists and hairline in toes and fingers

12. Healing time(days/weeks/months) - 6 weeks for legs, 3 for collarbone, about 6 f'in months for the wrists and days for digits

13. Age when broken - I haven't broken any bones in 3 years, but I can't remember each of them... probably range from 15-19...

5. Medication(optional) - penicilin 2ce a day, supposedly

6. Smoke yes/no - 5 a day ish

8. Hobbies(trials included!!) - trials - bmx - football - rugby - wanking - drinking

9. Previous injuries - full spleenectomy, 4 broken ribs, multiple toe breakages, cracked head open 3 times, cut open 2ce etc. etc.

10. What bone did/ have you broken? rib

11.Type of fracture(hairline, full crack, multiple etc) - 3 hairlines, 1 break

12. Healing time(days/weeks/months) - months, like 4ish

13. Age when broken - 16

9. Previous injuries: Snapped ankle ligament, torn shoulder muscle, patellar tendonitis.

10. What bone did/ have you broken? Broken nose and partial upper jaw fracture, ring finger on right hand.

11.Type of fracture(hairline, full crack, multiple etc): Compound fracture and hairline fracture.

12. Healing time(days/weeks/months): 6 weeks for nose/jaw, 3 weeks for finger.

13. Age when broken: 16 for both.

Amount of exercise is the most stupid question ever!

Oh I don't know. I think it's relevant. Active people tend to be healthier as the body tends to maintain it's natural chemical balances better and is more actively repairing itself. I would also think that active people have a higher tendency to break bones because they're out moving about and subjecting themselves to other things that don't involve sitting on a couch or in an office chair. Just my opinion though. :rolleyes:

9. Many bruises/cuts, cracked skull, broken fingers, broken leg.

10. Tibia/fingers

11. Full break/hairline fractures

12. Out of cast in 4 weeks, full recovery was about 4 months.

8. Hobbies(trials included!!) Martial Arts.

9. Previous injuries. - Death.

10. What bone did/ have you broken? Ribs, Fist bones, Wrists.

11.Type of fracture(hairline, full crack, multiple etc) Hairline, Compound.

12. Healing time(days/weeks/months) 4 months

13. Age when broken between 20 and 65.
