Daniel C
to make it louder you could try ataching an air horn to your brake some how, so when you press the brake it goes off preferably near the pistons as this may be abit desturbing wilst in the process of doing something ...or buy some new pads, check the pad reviews. Mikee
Why the f**k do you want a loud brake ? surely a working brake would be much better ?Hell yeh! I hate load brakes. I like mine to be silent but at the moment mine does a little squeek which i don't mind too much. When i have magura black they never made a sound which was good but they weren't brilliant pads. so get some new pads
Sidehop Stuart
bt a load break is a workin breakLol, that's exactly what I think too! Gives me confidence too, that I know my break is working!
El Cristoff
loud brakes = loseBut in answer to your question, black pads are terrible. Try get a nice deep grind, and some Koxx browns/ Phat pads/ Heatsink reds/ yellowsI highly recommend Phat pad, they always worked for me, even without a grind Edited November 24, 2008 by El Cristoff
