Connor Powell
Hi guys,Basically ive bought a try-all rim and i know grinds dont last long on them and i dont want to grind it too many times and make the sidewalls thin, i want this rim to last a while so ive been thinking about running some pads on a dead grind, atm i have coust sinks which dont work on a dead grind. So what have you guys tried that work on a dead grind possibly with a little tar, I did run heatsink snowys before on a dead grind but im not sure if they've changed the compound.Anyway, Fire away Thanks. Dave Anscombe
connor try all rims are not as weak as you think they are...shure the grinds dont last as long but in this weather a brake that works is a must.....ded light grinds and a soft compound pad with even damp in the air=shit brakeso just grind it and run the coustsdave x

Jason222
I think you should just regrind with a harsher angle. Have the grinding disc at a 70-90 degree angle to the rim, press hard and go fast. Makes a really deep grind, and it lasts ages, even on softer rims like try-alls. I haven't ground mine in 2.5 months and it's still not dull.
