Muel
I think it comes with a BB and headset already fitted.Just checking, the BB on the stock will be ISIS right? How long? I've got Middleburn cranks so it doesn't really matter, but I think mines 128mm... It's an Echo internal if anyone can tell from that? JonMack
You know I probably wouldnt be able to make a video, but I could certainly give you some feedback on the mod frame, if you need another rider, also, I could be a middle man between the Cornwall and the Bucks riders. Dang!
Shipping- Very Important! I have been working with UPS to determine the best way to deal with shipping and tracking. I decided to use UPS because they work in all the countries the frame is going and they have really good tracking software. Because these frames are going to so many different places, some with duties and VAT, some without, some will be handed off, some will take a week to arrive, etc... The most fair method is to create a flat fee for everyone. The fee is going to be $100.00 US. This fee is going to apply to all who want to participate, even those who are going to hand off frames. This fee needs to be paid to me. In turn, I will set up all the shipments, all the labels will be emailed to you, I will also send replacement boxes. All you need to do is receive the frame, ride it, pack it and put the label on it. Pick up will be scheduled for you. Unless they won't pick up where you are, then you will be required to drop off. With the payment I will need: your emailyour nameyour ship to addressyour phone numberI will understand if you feel this is too much cost... but only so far.it's just not that much for what you are getting access to.In order for this to work, I will require this money in the next two months or there abouts. For those who are the first group, I will need it now.The most expensive shipments are some of the first ones. Also take note that some of your favorite Trials shops are pitching in with goodies for your build. If you are disinterested, I am sorry, but this is the only reasonable method I could come up with. Please post that you are out so I can find a replacement.Hinmaton
cadbury's cream egg
what if the frame is staying in your area ? couldnt you just pass it on to the next person instead of shipping it ? that would also keep the cost down.
Muel
That works out at £70 at the current exchange rates! I'll be posting it to the highlands according to the list, I sent a complete bike there last year for £25, so it can't be more than £15 this time surely, the box I used was huge.Sorry but I'm out, I just can't afford that at the moment. To be honest asking people to pay to test a frame for you is a bit harsh, especially when we're only getting it for a month and we have to complete a to do list. Not looking for an argument! Just my thoughts. If you want a product with some quality testing from riders all over the world then you should be bank rolling it if you ask me, £70 to rent a frame for a month is a bit much if I'm honest. I think it's enough that your asking people to debuild their bikes, get used to a new frame, make a video and give it some publicity all within the space of a month.
