Bikes look lovely Joe

On another not, just wondering if you could tell me what rear rim came with the original onza limey, as the one I have has lasted over 2 years.

Thanks Bruce

Should be just the regular hog rim. Limey's were sometimes custom built though so I would have to have a look at it.

No it’s not the hog, could you have a look in my bike pic topic if you don’t mind and see if you can tell what it is http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=128280

Thanks

Ive been riding the ice proto for a while now and really like it, everyone who has had a ride on it says its the biz to. As Joe said its really nice on the back wheel and goes up to front wheel really well because its quite long. both frames come with the 350mm rear end which pesonally I prefur. It makes the back end flick through abit quicker, great for gaps and bunny hops!!

The limey frame took me by surprise really as its a short frame ( I dont get on with short frames!! ) but this is quite possibly the best bike Ive ridden!! and before you all say it, Im not getting told to say it. Ill always give a honest oppinion of the stuff I ride ( ask Joe lol ) It rides reall well on two wheels, moves easy and feels really responsive. Partly because how ballanced the bike is and the weights good too.

Ill add some more when Ive ridden it a little more (without scratching it giggle.gif sorry Joe )lol.probably be on the Notts ride this Sunday If anyone wants to have a sneeky peak.

Ryan

That is a hog ;) 48mm wide, smooth curving top edge (bit with the spoke eyelets).

As far as i was aware there were the ronnie/reggies, then the first edition hog rims in which the front had little hog shapes and the back was just circular holes. Then a little while later the rear hogs had the little hog shapes, then the pro series and 128 series rims were available (most recent).

Yours is the first gen hog if i'm not mistaken.

Onza - my faith in you as a company has been restored. I'd actually quite like on of those. Considering about a year ago I used to slate onza at every possible turn, you've done very very well. I like that your stuff is new and bold, light, well made and english (if only in name).

Only thing I'm not a massive fan of is the paint jobs, but I have funny taste.

Next, I'd like to see a lower rise stem, and higher rise bars combo. High rise bars (Try-All Rage, Trialtech and Monty 221s) have become weapon of choice for about 70% of riders I'd say, its a good way to go.

Thanks, It means a lot. We could bring these out as full bikes as shown but they would retail around £950 and the jury is out whether they would sell at that.

Paint jobs are a bit bold but the green has really really grown on me. Like you said, You cant please every taste.

I agree with the bars and stem, As soon as we free some stock up at Moore Large things like that will change I'm sure.

Thanks for the boost though.
