hI-OOPS-CAPS Posted November 19, 2008 Report Share Posted November 19, 2008 after 1hr of exercise, 80% of your energy comes from fat. doesnt have to be vigorous, but does have to be CV. you can just elevate your heart rate slightly, say to 120.its mega boring though. like amazingly boring. doopdoopbedoop Posted November 19, 2008 Report Share Posted November 19, 2008 I dunno about completely boring, I did a nice fast weights session earlier which kept the heart rate nice and high and yet felt challenging:I started off with a half hour ride home at a moderate pace, but that can be left out...Warmup20x Press ups20x Situpsthen with a heavy, but un-weighted bar, still at 5 sets of each:Set 120x Punch fronts20x Shoulder press in front20x Bicep curls20x Shoulder press behindSet 220x Upright rows20x Squats20x Bent over rows20x Tricep CurlsThen 5 ab sets of:20x straight situp20x knee ins20x alternate situps20x crunches (legs upright, reaching to the toes)Finish with the warm-up set 5 times again. Tops 30 second break between sets. Personally I don't find that too boring, but everyone's different. Maybe this one would be a good one for you to try out Dave?
